Complete BS not showing this fight! I received an email from Main Event yesterday advising that the only fight they will be showing in August is Dawson v Pascal. I am thankful for that as it may well end up being one of the better fights of the year. The silky sills of Bad Chad v the power of Pascal in his own backyard. Should be sweet!
Main Event are HOPELESS... I've been saying it for ages. They've got no ****in idea what to show. This is a rematch of last year's FIGHT OF THE YEAR, FFS.
Which they showed then so what's changed now, they could have advertised it on the sports channels putting emphasis on it being the rematch of last years fight of the year. It would be easier to sell this fight thru advertising than the Pascal/Dawson fight i reckon, though i haven't seen an ad for that yet either.
The guys on the 2 biggest boxing trackers are now starting to cap in High Def I would prefer to wait and watch in HD rather than watch live in grotty foxtel SD on Main event
Any other Gold coast or Brizzy guys watching the fight come to the Pac Pines Hotel for a beer or 10 Me and TCW so far will be there and maybe even Teke will get off his lounge and come along as well...hey Teke :hi:
Main Events reasoning after my angry email. Thanks for your email. The pay-per-view channel (Main Event) is going through a major upgrade this weekend which prevents any events being scheduled during that period. Therefore we cannot broadcast Marquez v Diaz. Kind regards, Cate
Hopefully the outcome of their major upgrade will be that future cards do not look like they were filmed by a epileptic derelict in someone's dingy basement. Between the cameramen stumbling all over the ****ing place, the shithouse lighting and Dave Bontempo or The Colonel's mistake ridden calls I question why we keep forking over our hard earned cashola?
