The Dublin fighters that would kick the boxing into the top gear in the capital would be Byrne and Jamie Kavanagh it is a shame that we wont get to see them for a while. I know they are doing the right thing being in the US but I would love to see them over here for a card once a year. Builds up a home following as well as in the US.

Good improvement since his last fight with him, plenty of power in those punches.

Steward comes on about 84 minutes in, Andy Lee follows him.

Awesome news about Deano Byrne being added to the CityWest bill. :happy Feckin love to be heading up to it but I just can't swing the funds for it. Great little card, props to the lads at Dolphil. Will this mean Irish Lightning will be fighting out of Ireland from now on?

Like any boxer, if he was offered a title shot, i'm sure he'd take it. Not sure of his Irish ancestry but judging by his name and his appearance, there must be some Irish blood in him. The guy he was fighting there is limited but hasn't been stopped a lot in relation to all his losses, so I thought he done well. Coyle will be getting plenty of work over the next year with Maloney which should tell us more about him and i'm sure if he was offered an Irish title shot providing Andy Murray vacates, he would take it.

Nice to hear Andy lee call out paul williams in andys humble way lol. He does come across as a bit quiet and a bit too nice. If he can get brian vera on an american tv network i think he should take it especially if he cant get a big name. Veras ranked by the IBF at super middle now , thanks to his win against demers ,so it would be worthwhile.
Fighthing stateside is a smart move and the quickest route to a world title. Just keep winning man.

Tommys fathers side of the father are Irish - both his paternal grandparents, and yes he is interested in having a pop at the Irish title.

Vera fight sounds like a real possibility by the way they are talking. I'd like nothing more than for Lee to avenge that defeat and shut up the idiots on here calling him a bum, who probably only saw one of Lee's fights.

Vera in October, then Sturm in early 2011. :thumbsup
