Sports Illustrated has a bias for American (US) fighters, so right now since the best fighter in the World is not American, its time to try to discredit his career or try to cast a shadow of a doubt of what he has done in the Sport....it is more of subtle method, of what HBO is doing in cutting off HW bouts.

Look at this Pacturd wiggle and squirm.

They signed from a position of financial weakness and desperation for a big payday.

IF MANNY WAS SO GOOD HE WOULDN'T HAVE TO DRAIN FIGHTERS:deal

Do you really think it matters anymore?

Mate, every single division is boxing is ****ing bull****. Look at how watered down every title in boxing is. You really want to defend the belts and act like they're something of value? There are three WBA featherweight champions and that is a big indication of why titles don't mean anything.

If there was one title, fine. If there was the lineal or Ring title on the line, fine. But there is absolutely no prestige in these divisions anymore. Who cares what the promoters, organizations or fighters do to **** all over the value of the titles? There is no prestige.

At this point, I don't care about titles. They are just three little letters that mean nothing. I want to see the best fight the best and if that means a compromise, so what?

If this wasn't a title fight and Pacquiao and Margarito had just agreed on 150lbs, nobody would mind. It's only because it's a title fight that people think it's bull**** but I see no reason why it should change any opinions. Titles are worth less than the gold and leather they're made out of. They add no prestige or legacy to a fighter anymore.

Couldn't agree with it more. I used to be a fan of Manny but since DLH I have lost my love for him because of this kind of bull****.

1.Tony is not the best jr middleweight

2.There are excellent Champs at 140 he could face instead of cherrypicking losing and drained fighters.

    **** catchweights.

  15. That's a good argument. The sanctioning bodies are corrupt as hell. They come up with new titles just to make a few extra bucks.
