Ok, fight has to be signed by the end of 2012, Pac can't retire before then, Floyd can't become incapacitated, Pac can't be coming off a loss, the negotiations can't fall apart because of Team Pac. That sounds pretty good.

So I win and you leave for good if
-Fight is signed by the end of 2012, or the fight falls apart because of Pac(i.e, he changes terms of contract or retires, or balks at fight)

It's a push and no one wins if
-Either guy suffers a loss in the interim
-Either fighter becomes incapacitated
-A natural disaster or some sort of war or another freak occurence prevents the fight from happening by the end of 2012

There comes a time in every fighter's career that they might have that "doubt" in their mind whether they can beat a certain fighter. Those who has the doubt are said to have already lost the fight before entering the ring. I don't label this "doubt' as fear although some people may call it that. But this doubt has influences many fighters from taking risky fights and therefore becomes cherry-pickers or duckers. I'm positively sure Floyd has this doubt against Pac, he knows he is the better boxer than Pac but Pac has proven he can overcome odds. When Floyd is not 100% sure he can win the fight, then he will be uncooperative in negotiations or simply avoid it completely by going into "retirement" or on "vacation".

 

Yawn. The only way Floyd fights Pac is if Margarito knocks him out first.

Yup. Agreed. But there is a flaw in your proposal. Pac retiring can be a direct result of Floyd showing no signs of willing to fight him. So how can I lose the bet if Pac retires because Floyd went into hiding? So other than that, I'm good with the bet.

 

2012? It's the middle of 2010 right now. Pac will probably retire soon right? I don't see Floyd fighting anyone but bums when he's 35+.

 

I am simply giving Floyd plenty of time. I'm sure he'll be avoiding Pac for quite some time.

 

Floyd will fight Manny when he feels like it. He doesn't have to bend to Manny or Bob Arum. All roads lead to Floyd Mayweather. He's the best fighter of this generation and has proven it since the late 90's, whereas Manny hasn't proven much until mid 2000's... Hence Pac-man getting fighter of the decade is just silly.

Pac won his first title in 98. Won a title at Super Bantam in 2001 and KO'd Barrera in 2003.

Naw, Pac was doing **** throughout the decade. It's just that fake-ass 'boxing fans' such as yourselves, didn't know about him until he TKO's DLH.
