1. The WBC rules state that anyone below 154 can fight for the 154 title.

Even the most diehard ******* should be able to understand that but they'll just say something about floyd ducking not realizing that floyd not fight doesnt = pac vs marg is a fight that HAS to happen but is the only fight Arum wants for pac right at this point.

I don't think Pacquiao has done anything wrong up to this point. However, this fight is HIGHLY suspect. Truth be told, if Floyd was pulling this **** people would be calling for his head... That being said, Pacquiao hasn't pulled the amount of garbage that Floyd has, so I guess I can give him a break.

Still, if Floyd fights Cotto and Pacquiao fights Margarito then Floyd will have taken the more interesting fight two times in a row.

 

I am a huge manny pacquiao fan.

this **** is stupid. first off fighting marg for the belt when manny has never fought at 154 and marg has one fight in 6years at that weight and it being a catch-weight for the belt, and its with margacheato the cheater. both are top rank guys in fact pacs last two opponents were with top rank. Bob arum wants that money, I love pacman but arum is not getting the money from me. not this time, I refuse to pay for a fight against a known cheater who isnt even licensed in America.

I hate to say it but this is the one time I will agree with the pac haters.

If you were a true boxing fan - You would assume that the WBA title at 154 pounds is the one that Miguel Cotto beat Yuri Foreman for in June.

You might think "What vacant WBA title?"

Then you might think "Ohhhh - So is Cotto now one of them "super champs" the WBA likes and then realise that there really is no belt, its just a way for the WBA to charge more sanctioning fees"

Then with some unbiased logic you might say "Well it really sucks that Pac and May couldn't work it out, what other fighters would make for a more entertaining fight that have a draw that Pac hasn't beaten"

Then people start saying that Margaritto is a push over.

The bottom line is *****'s will have a dig no matter what because their bums are still sore after Floyd left them out on a raft without so much as an official statement.

And in the meantime, Pac just wants to fight.

Personally - I'd like to see Pac JMM III at 140, then Pac retires and Floyd needs to either wipe windows in Vegas after blowing his cash, or have him fight Paul Williams/Martinez etc.

 

Mayweather started at 130 and he didn't need a catchweight when he won a TITLES at 154....147.....140....or 135.:deal
