Well, I picked Mayorga to beat Forrest

Hopkins to beat Trinidad

The NY Giants to beat the NE Patriots

Margarito over Cotto
Froch over Taylor
Adamek over Arreola
Pac over DLH


Margarito because i felt Cotto was too much of a contact fighter to disengage enough to make it a non contact fight where by Margarito's extra size would not be a factor.

Froch because i knew Taylor had poor stamina, that Froch if nothing, is very consistent and would keep asking questions of him, Froch just has more dog in him.

Adamek because i thought Arreola comes in straight far too much and that Adamek could reset him, plus, Adamek has improved his speed and is using his legs more than ever, noticed this in his previous fight with Golota.

Pac over Oscar because Oscar's reflexes looked poor against Forbes, that fight was a pivotal reason why i picked Manny.

I can't believe anyone pick Douglas over Tyson, what made you think that at the time? Did you just feel Tyson was not taking the fight seriously enough?

 

those that picked douglas over tyson, did you actually put your money where mouth is and bet? i'm sure if you did you'd be screaming like you had the greatest orgasm ever.

 

Brewster over Wlad, and told a room full of people too right before the bout. Pretty sweet.

Also told everybody and their moms that Morales would beat Pac. It was an upset to some people I guess.

 

I said with an ALT account that Mosley was gonna beat the living day lights out of Margarito, although i was trolling at the time and did not truly believe it, therefore i can take credit for it

 

I was a young kid at the time, one of my first sports memories were how much of a god I thought Mike Tyson was. I still remember that moment, (my dad was a huge boxing fan) I could not believe Tyson was gonna lose even up until the time he got knocked out. I remember thinking Tyson was gonna knock him out any second. That was about the time I turned the god like status over to Roy Jones Jr.

 

I cant believe I forgot this but I picked Tarver over Jones both times.

The first fight I was at a conference in Toledo, lots of Mexican boxing fans there. So the day of the fight I announced to a bunch of em that Tarver was going to win and they talked a ton of ****. During the bout I put my fingers up for every round won by Tarver and by the tenth round you could hear a pin drop.

I know the fight was close and couldve gone either way, and Roy did end up getting the decision, but nobody had a thing to say.

 

I bet money on Morales over Pac, got a little bit. I usually do 3 fight parlays b/c I just want a big lump sum or nothing. Once I almost pulled off a nice parlay, and the last bet was that that German dude that almost beat Tszyu would last 12 with Cotto and those ****ing **** face ****ing German **** face corner pieces of **** **** pulled the fight when he wasnt even ****ing hurt in the 11th.

I know it wasnt really an upset, more a 50/50 fight, but i was at Bernard Dunne vs Poonsawat and i could tell from the way Bernard was fighting he was gonna be knocked out and everyone looked at me like i was a dickhead
