i picked zahir raheem over morales and got 3-1 odds on that. i just felt he was all wrong for morales whether morales was shot or in his prime. most people thought i was crazy for that. speaking of tyzu i picked him hatton over him. but i lost big with judah. don't know why but i was never impressed with tyzu, was always picking him to lose fights.
i couldn't have been more wrong with that fight. i actually had to find out the result before i was willing to sit down and watch the fight because i didn't want to see mosley quit on his stool or get stopped by the ref. boy was i wrong. pac and mosley are my two favorite and the thought of mosley being man handled by margarito worried me.
Yeah, to be fair though, Shane was allowed to hold exclusively which cut Margarito's output, which id hazard a guess is one of the reasons it was anticipated he(Margo) would win, that and how poor Mosley looked against Mayorga.
Donaire over Darchinyan: I picked Darchinyan to pay for his lack of defence. Saw leaks in his defence at the time. Morales over Pac 1: Picked Morales to win.
well mayorga was fought at 154 and he probably weighed over 165 against shane. shane's never looked good at 154 which is why the mora fight worries me. i won money betting on wright-mosley the first fight.
Ali against Foreman. Even though Ali had many fans, Foreman, at the time, was thought to be unbeatable.
I called Lewis/Rahman and won a little money on that fight. I wouldn't take the bet for the rematch with my buddy and I'm glad I didn't.
Hopkins-Pavlik...I can't remember picking anything else really. Maybe some FNF prospect vs veteran upsets.
