Who do you consider being the best inside fighter ever? Hard question, I know but still, I´m curious.
    All the best

Gina Gershon deserves an honorable mention here, I think. Just because of her lips.

Yep I agree. As a matter of fact I agree with you on alot of things. Just to add other names I'll bring in Chavez & Frazier.

For the bigger men ,Dempsey for sure.. Rough, tough and MEAN!
For the smaller guy, I take Lou Ambers, in close...He was great with inside uppercuts...
He is so underated today, I believe ...

Bowe was damn good at inside fighting, especially for his size.

    Armstrong

... and Frazier was a better on the inside fighter than Dempsey as far as I'm concerned. He's the best as far as HWs go.

Henry Armstrong. He could put up a workrate as high as anyone without getting tired, he had fast hands, his punches were sharp and accurate, and he could mix with combinations to the head and body as well as anyone. He hit you anywhere and everywhere..he had power too! Yikes!

This thread is becoming something of an Armstrong appreciation thread lol but I have no problem with that I'm a fan of his.

I agree with this. Part of the reason Tommy Gibbons was able to survive against Dempsey was by smothering Jack's power at close range, something Charles also did in the first match with Marciano. That would have been very, very difficult to do with a prime Frazier, and I also think Tommy Burns deserves mention for his infighting among the heavyweight champions.

All time, through all weight divisions, it's hard to go against Armstrong, who may well have been a natural featherweight throughout his career. The man compiled a monstrous record with his infighting prowess.

Marciano hasn't been mentioned here..but he needs to be given a shout out. I mean the man only had a 67" reach for christ sakes! He had T-Rex arms. All he could do was inside fight, and use his incredible leverage.
