Is this the only excuse Floyd fans have? that he is rich? cos its not a very good excuse. it doesn't make him a better boxer. this is a boxing forum. not a "who can get filthy rich" forum.

I used to be in Floyd's corner in regards to the fight with Pacman, for the life of me I could not see why he would not take a blood test. However, since Pacman has agreed, Floyd has left himself with no room to move, and has blatantly ducked this fight which is a shame becuase not only do both fighters and boxing as a whole need this fight, I still think Floyd could beat Pacman.

 

At least his career hasn't sunk to fighting an un-licensed fighter in mexico:rofl:rofl:rofl

By all accounts, Pac has never agreed to random blood testing.

I'm like everyone else, i just want to see the fight.

I don't subscribe to this you 'one or the other' mentality that has become the common theme with Mayweather and Pac.

However, i can't for the life of me get my head round why Pac won't agree to full random tests.

This just makes no sense to me.

 

taking the tests dont make sense but taking a couple of years off from boxing without facing your biggest threat for ridiculous money in one of the biggest fights ever makes sense?With dumbass fans like the ones he has its no wonder that he behaves the way he does in a couple of years time he comes back to steal some more money and you ***s will fall for it once again.

Sports Illustrated has been 500% Pacland for the last two years.

They’ve been blaming Floyd completely over both negociations, for the last year, no matter what information comes up.

General sports sites, tend to be anti Mayweather, in truth. As they just attract casual boxing fans, and most casual boxing fans tend to back Pacquiao.

ESPN used to be pretty good, until they dared criticise Pacquiao, by printing Teddy Atlas’s claims. They had death threats, anti ESPN campaigns, mass boycotts.

You have to accept that sites, where boxing is just a sideshow, (it doesn’t even have it’s own section on SI) their journalists are going to take sides with the biggest audience.

ESPN are exactly the same. Guys like Raphael used to be pretty critical of Arum and Pacquiao until he became this “icon”.

Casual boxing fans read SI. Casual fans tend to like Pacquiao as well

 

Why fight Mosely, Marquez, Williams, Bradley, when you can make more fighting guys like Margarito?
