Why can't people just wait for them to fight? It will build up the hype and excitement for when they do face off, especially if they manage to come through tests like Caballero, Rafa, John Rojas etc with their '0's still in tact

If this was a few years ago then I'd agree with him, but if this was a few years ago Marquez wouldn't be a Featherweight.

Marquez worries me in this fight....I see him like a windmill in a hurricane!

Non stop action....I just hope that Juanma is up to the task!!!

Yes after the Lopez war and coming in at 122lbs vs a strong 126lbs Gamboa. Mistake by Mtgawa.

 not really. Rafa is too old, he's been through a lot. Gamboa or Caba would be a much better bout. Caba has been calling him out for a while now, he looks like a punk for not acknowledging it.

Is true marquez has the better resume the bigger name and a HOF career with a big fan base. This fight will do a lot for juanmas career and from here he'll be a superstar making millions.

I hope Juanma isn't avoiding Gamboa for now. I agree Rafa is a good match up for Lopez, a pure skill test for him. But still Yuriorkis Gamboa is the best fighter to beat for him at featherweight.

is that what you gonna keep crying about.. hey this is boxing and is done like this all the time... young fighters fight big name veterans to go from star to superstars.. didnt DLH fight chavez not once but twice.. is part of the game of boxing besides marquez went up in weight before juanma and nobody is forcing him to take the fight

Get with the program dude cause Arum already plan for Lopez vs Gamboa to fight next year in june 2011 for the big big mega fight showdown. Lopez isn't avoiding Gamboa or vice versa.

Career wise marquez is miles ahead of caballero and gamboa but this marquez is too old now. It would be a good win for lopez cuz marquez is going down as one of the best but he is fighting another version of marquez. The old version.
