    no prison took his footspeed away from him and his lack of stamina was down to poor training and not enough ringtime he still had fast hands and the power but not much else .

    The thing that affected Tyson the most post prison in my opinion was his timing. Thats something that made Tyson so affective during his prime. His ability to come forward slip punches and counter off his opponents shots. He never regained that, and just flew forward winging punches and getting hit more.

    agreed his timing always looked well off after prison his sparring partners after prison were not good enough when compared to his prime ie oliver mccall etc plus he missed rooney badly :good

    The Tyson that came to fight Evander Holyfield the second time, was in his best shape since the 1980's.

    He was fast, using head movement. He looked like a coiled spring inside the ring, but also Evander Holyfield was in immense shape, the speed they both had was immense..!!!!!
