What's everyones opinion on "The Iron Boy"? He has been one of my favourite fighters to watch in recent years and I would honestly place him in my P4P top 5.

    Am I alone?

Quality fighter. Segura will cement him at the high end of the P4P.

Quality technician, so much that he's not hampered by his lack of pop.

Not at all mate i love watching Calderon, one of the best pure boxers in the sport especially when you consider how much he gives away in physicality. He is on a downward spiral though and he'll lose in the near future. Whether Segura's that man i guess we'll find out at the end of August

Love watching him as well, Lee. I have been continually frustrated with his love of mandatory fights and he has also shown signs that he is fading in the last year or so, but I am still really looking forward to the fight with Segura next month. Cannot wait for that one:bbb. I think it would be better for the division if Segura wins and, as a fan of his as well, I wouldn't be too bothered if Calderon lost. Retiring with the '0' intact has never meant that much to me anyway; I'll always remember Calderon as one of most gifted fighters from the generation of fight fans that I belong to.

If Iron Boy survives the first four he'll make Segura look a ****.

A very good technician, one of the best pure boxers in the sport IMO, just somewhat hampered by his lack of power.

I wouldn't. Simply does not have the competition required to be a top 5 fighter.

Generally I don't like highly technical guys, particularily those with little knockout power, but I find Calderon quite enjoyable to watch. His skills are supurb, maybe his fights are a bit more enjoyable in the last couple of years as he's slowed down a touch and the other guy gets more chance to hit him now. Unfortunately for him he's a midget so he'll never get any serious acclaim.
