Was Karmazin D12 Sylvester a fair call? I missed it.

    I was rooting for Karmazin.

From what I read it seemed fair enough, what was everyone's thoughts on the Draw?

How do you think a rm would go if it happened?

I didn't see it, but most thought Karmazin won although it wasn't a complete robbery.

Karmazin won it for me, though if you're really, deeply in love with hard, clean punching, I could see it as being somewhat close. Here's the rbr from the general: http://www.eastsideboxing.com/forum/showthread.php?t=231499&highlight=karmazin&page=5, most had Karmazin winning. There was another one I participated in, in either the Euro or Brit forum where we also agreed that Karmazin had won.
So did 2 of the judges iirc, until Sauerland went over to their table and convinced one judge to change his score from a Karmazin win to a draw by telling the judge he wasn't allowed to score even rounds under IBF rules. Still, not the worst robbery in the world.

Karmazin isn't getting any younger, and Sylvester might come in a bit better prepared this time. Sylvester should be favorite for the rematch.

Sylvester wasn't even in the fight until about round 8/9.

    Karmazin definetely deserved the win.

Like my old man says; If you fighting in Germany, you need to knock em' out just to get a draw!

I had Sylvester winning 1 or 2 rounds tops. It was a robbery.

In my opinion Karmazin won all of the first 6/7 rounds and stole another couple after that. I had him a pretty clear winner. He was snapping sylvesters head back with double and triple jabs all night.
A for a rematch, I think that might have been Karmazins last big performance. I also think sylvester couldnt be that bad again. He barely landed a punch for the first 4 or 5 rounds

Hmmm so far everyone's thoughts have been a little different. I expected most to favor Karmazin from the articles I've read.

Sylvester showed clean and effective punching, Karmazin showed, mostly ineffective, aggression. Sylvester was inactive quite often thus making the fight closer than it should have been. Robbery only in the eyes of people who think you can win a fight purely on aggression.
