Kwang Sun Kim was winning both of his title fights with Gonzalez and Carbajal before getting stopped.

I'd would say Edwin Rosario against Camacho though you could argue for Viruet or Bramble. People tend to forget just how high Camacho was riding at the time. He DESTROYED Bazooka and was considered to be a likely pound for pound number one guy in the future. Rosario put in a great effort, wobbling Camacho several times and performing very very well throughout.

What makes you say that? Sure, he was dominating the fight up until he collapsed out of the blue, but you'd really consider that a bigger achievement than doing the same to Abe Attell and finishing?

Walcott versus Louis I. Joe was so thouroughly beaten he wanted to leave the ring, before the decision. The dumbfounded cornermen of Walcott, when the decision was announced. will forever be remembered.

For the casual American fan maybe, but if you knew your boxing in the period, you knew Conteh was never the same fighter post 74...

As brilliant as he was against McGirt, the first Chavez fight defind Meldrick Taylor IMO.

Camacho redeemed himself for the Rosario fight, by taking his beating like a man against Chavez.

Pat Cowdell gave Salvador Sanchez hell

I think Cotehs first fight with Saad was his defining hour because he was able to push an outstanding champion to the limit with only one good hand with his best years behind him. While the wins against Diaz, Finnegan, and Ahmuda were all good, the first Saad proved his true value as a fighter.

But Women, Fame and Booze had got to Conteh by the first Saad fight, he was ruined as a fighter. He may of met slightly lesser fighters in the past, but he showed signs of greatness in them days. IMO against Saad it was merely memories that got him though.
