    Timing beats speed.

so far no pac fan has an answer for how emmanuel will react once he's in the ring with someone who has faster hands AND timing. Morales and Marquez were able to beat him with their timing, but they had slower hands.

You ain't never lied about that.

I think both have both qualities, just in different measure.

agree with this. no one knows how pac will handle it, or if he even can. timing does beat speed, but the faster the guy is, the harder he is to time. can floyd do it? i think he can, but let's see him actually do it.

as soon as floyd is done with his vacation i guess we'll find out for sure.

We saw Floyd successfully time Zab Judah who is even quicker than him and manny. manny's hands aren't as fast as Floyd, so he will time manny fine. emmanuel is fast, but not stupid fast Roy Jones style where it can't even be timed. manny on the other hand has always been used to being the guy with a significant handspeed advantage.

Morales and Marquez were able to beat manny with timing, and they don't have the same handspeed as Floyd or timing as great.

But what is more telling in my opinion is that Zab was able to time, set up and counter Floyd. Which indicated that the southpaw stance and the speed factor causes Floyd some trouble. He had to get acclimated to Zab's speed before he was able to adjust and implement his own game plan.

Manny is pretty ****in fast...defintely as faster if not faster than Floyd at WW. Zab was definitely faster than Floyd..

The one point that you make that I agree with is the speed factor for Manny...he has been always the one who enjoyed the speed advantage...I'm sure he'll have to get use to Floyd's speed too....but luckily for Manny Floyd is NOT that high volume. JMM and EM had GREAT timing....impecable to be honest, especially JMM. Of course they don't have the speed of Floyd or Manny but the version they faced will not be the version Floyd ends up fighting if the fight comes off next year.

you can't anticipate pac, people have tried and people get knocked out with punches they say they haven't seen coming.

Floyd whoops manny easily next year if the fight happens. manny struggles moar against counter-punchers than Floyd does southpaws. His fights with Marquez are controversial, but Floyd dominated every southpaw he fought.

Marquez was not high volume at all:

511/12 = 43 punches per round, which is only 3 greater than Floyd's average of 40.

floyd's best weapon against manny will be his jab(which is hard to time) and if manny can time his jab it will be all over.

When Floyd whooped Zab and Corley he barely even used his jab for anything other than a measuring tool. It was the left hooks and most importantly the right hands doing a number on those guys.

Marquez didn't jab much against manny either. It was the left hooks to the body and right hands doing damage.

Morales was able to control manny with the jab.

Floyd isn't going to be some one dimensional, one punch fighter against manny. He has the jab, right hand, left hook, and left hook to the body.
