What a piece of **** post ^ turned out to be. Do I really have to break this down for you? Strikeforce is NOT the UFC's only real competition in the North American market. There's also Bellator, M1 Selection, Shark Fight Promotions, Art of War, XFC, PFC, MFC, and not to mention dozens upon dozens of independent orgs that may not have Strikeforce's CBS deal or Fedor, but are competing with the UFC all the same. As long as there are fighters outside of the UFC they can never have a true monopoly over the sport. Therefore the TS's topic is invalid and irrelevant. BTW I had no idea I was dealing with the topic nazi.

 and don't tell me to cut the insults and speak to the point when your the one who asked to hold my hand and called me special needs in the first place. Also its my personal experience that grown men who are obsessed with anime are generally deeply disturbed individuals with a sexual attraction to Japanese body pillows so good luck with that nubby :good

Your insults are weak. almost as bad as your argument.

Im a fan, not obsessed.:deal I suggested you stick to the topic because your mind wanders aimlessly when you dont, then you make foolish comments.

Try to focus on the point, and please take your Ritalin.:hi:

 Whatever you have to tell yourself to sleep at night nubby. Seriously though I don't know whats worse, your failed attempts at humor or the way you severely overestimate your own intellect. Either way your a mong for completely disregarding my argument while telling me to stay on topic. Either refute my points or GTFO. I'm not much interested in mindlessly arguing with some pseudo pedophelic knob job with a passion for Sailor Moon.

Did you read the article? It talks about a near monopoly vs an actual monopoly.

Let me break down the word "monopoly" the prefix is "mono", do you know what mono means? Thats right, it means "one". To say that the North American market only has one player is just factually wrong, to say that with strikeforce it just has one is also wrong, and ignores the ton of other organizations out there.

For all intents and purposes, blow me.

Being that there are no fewer than 4 promotions that put out product equal to or greater than the UFC, no. A monopoly would be horrible for the sport.

Hey beebs, I read the article thought it was interesting. No, I wont blow you.

the ufc is not a monopoly, if stikeforce collapsed (hopefully it doesn't considering I have showtime) maybe it would give rise to other orgs that could in turn compete.

I never said the ufc was currently a monopoly in north america or anywhere else.

I stated that in north america the only true competition for the ufc is currently strikeforce. Lets not pretend that their are multiple organizations in close contention for the north American market, It's simply not true. dont think I am blind and cannot see you same people making this argument then criticize these same orgs as being much inferior to the ufc. I see the inconstancy in your words, I am not a fool.

I stated to (PimpThaSystem) he was playing games when he said that the numerous local mma orgs offered any sort of competition to the ufc in north america. right now these orgs are like feeders or amateur league (with the exception of strikeforce maybe bellator)

all this is pointless because the original question was hypothetical (TS article) and asks "IF there was a monopoly" ect. that is the topic at hand.

How it came to petty insults is my fault. I should never have strayed from the path of wisdom when the insults were daintily cast at me. I should have ignored them as they harmlessly missed their mark. If only I possessed more discipline a more sensible discussion could have taken place. To those I have offended I am truly sorry.

If there ever is a monopoly I feel it would be bad for the fighters and the fans.

I hope competition remains in America and Japan and we continue to see other orgs succeed, co-promote and offer entertaining matches. Thats what I think is best for mma as a sport.
