Can Margarito redeem himself by beating pacquiao legitimately?

My take on the situation is this :

If Margarito knowingly placed this supposid plaster like substance in his gloves " HE SHOULD NEVER FIGHT AGAIN " , interesting actually i was just reading a thread by Arum over on the scene , and Arum is vehemently attacking De La Hoya for making statements like " Margarito should never fight again " , he actually stated " people like De La Hoya should go read the case file before making these un educated statements " or words to that effect , kinda raises an eye brow actually to Margarito's guilt or lack of guilt :deal

In summary , i find it hard to beleive Margo didnt know what was happening , but you dont know , either way , i think Pacquiao will be Tony's last fight as a relevant fighter anyway :deal

Of course. For me, without evidence from other fights, I don't consider his career achievements a farce, I just put a question mark just like in Mosley's, Jones and Toney's career. But beating Pacquiao would certainly help your case too.

 

That's true, but when Margarito is as slow as he is, I don't think that's enough to make this fight competitive.

 

He could pull off the biggest upset in years for all I care, but would he redeem himself...No.

He redeems himself the day he admits he knew what was being placed inside his wraps. I'm not naive like some people to believe he was unaware of this...I mean, you have been getting your hands wrapped for years...from what I remember, he was watching as his hands were wrapped. And did he not admit that what ever was placed inside his hands made it feel not normal?

Not only a cheat...but a liar aswell.
