    :rofl

Vitali by stoppage within five, only because Briggs has asthma. Shocking fight, Audley is as good an opponent as this, Briggs is well past prime and was shown up in his 'prime' (got a gift against Big George, decimated by Lennox)

Briggs will be very dangerous early on, well rounds 1 + 2 anyway.

Make that round 1 and first 30 seconds of round 2. Not as miffed about this as most will be, at least Briggs will give it a go and has some pop, which is about as good as it gets in the Heavyweight division right now.

I'm actually fine with this fight. If it wasn't for the fact he moves like a statue these days I'd even give Briggs a chance for the upset.

But it's win/win as far as I'm concerned; either the Klitschko fans end throwing a massive strop if Vitali loses, or one of the bigger braggers in the division has to clam up a bit.

seriously poor but who else can he fight.

    1. Ray Austin - knocked out in 2 by Wlad
    2. Odlanier Solis - turned fight down
    3. Nicolay Valuev - turned fight down
    4. Denis Boytsov - YES
    5. Tomasz Adamek - fighting August 31st
    6. Derric Rossy - who?
    7. Johnathon Banks - KO at cruiser
    8. Shannon Briggs - fighting
    9. Samuel Peter - beat already
    10. Chris Arreola - beat already
    11. Tony Thompson - beat by brother
    12. Juan Carlos Gomez - beat already
    13. Sergie Liakhovich - ???
    14. Albert Sosnowski - beat already
    15. Audley Harrison - Is Audley Harrison

So Boystov is the only better choice than Briggs.

Decent contender and former champ but Vitali ain't king and we want to know who is.

So ultimately it is a who cares fight. Briggs is a genius at rebuilding off of finishing nobodies. 4 first round ko's since his last loss (include testing for a banned substance) and he has a title shot.

    Great.
