As Chef recently reported, the Audley fight seems to be off because the injured old palooka sustained to his bicep during his last fight. So, who will Haye fight next? I have long maintained that the Hayemaker will simply wait until he has to fight, i.e., face his mandatory, Chagaev. My theory is that he is making so much money on pay per view and with his promotional company that he no longer has to be a full time fighter.

Harrison was the choice it seemed they were just waiting the right time to announce it. Where Hayefaker goes now is a tough call. They gonna have to dig up some no-hoper.

Povetkin would be a good choice and would earn back credibility but we know Hayefaker wont take that risk.

I agree. Povetkin would be a good choice and I think Atlas would actually return Povetkin's ball to him and allow him to make that fight.

If Harrison is off and it seems Vitali is all set to face Shannon Briggs. Wlad has Peter on hand. Haye will be in Vegas this weekend working Gorge Gorves corner if Haye's goal is to get a fight in Vegas then he could face Bernard Hopkins next and Haye's people have stated that they have been contacted by Hopkins people.

A fight with Hopkins is all risk, little reward. Hopkins hasn't look good in a long time and if Haye didn't stop him or beat him every round, he'd be lambasted by the press.

Chagaev and Povetkin would be good fights for him

I agree mostly but there is some reward Hopkins is a big name and a fight with him would draw attention with mainstream fans much in the same way a fight with Holyfield would.

so povetkin would be ready for a guy like haye like NOW...but needs years to be ready for wlad?
that would make he and atlas look like a bigger joke than they already are

Haye should tear Povetkin a new one and concentrate on his mando Chagaev then mabey face Wlad, if he has any chance of beating him then he needs to gain a little more experience in the HW scene he's only had 4 fights there, i dont know why he had to hype himself up like that.

i would be in favour of the following fights next for Haye: Povetkin, Adamek, Areolla, mabey Holyfield or B-Hop as they would be interesting if anything else
