if you are fighting once a year, why the need a tune-up? and he could have picked a proven welter then like clottey or berto but he picked jmm. next year, floyd might ask for another tune-up again before thinking of fighting pacquiao.

Before the fight with Floyd when Roach was manning the corner he said Floyd was not the same fighter he was at the lower weights and that he saw things in Floyd that DLH would expose. Of course when Manny was on to fight DLH he began talking **** about DLH too.

The DLH who fought Floyd was NOT the same DLH who fought Nard or Tito or Compas. And the DLH who faugth Floyd was not the same DLH that fought Manny but it was only 1 year apart and DLH was coming off of a SHUT victory over Forbes at 150 or 151.

So the dominating win by Manny even if he wasn't as good as he was at 154 a year earlier still Manny did the job the way he was suppose to....he did a lot better than Floyd who also faced a past his prime DLH. It was like night and day regardin the outcome...but DLH wasn't SHOT immediately after dominating Forbes and going 12 rounds in a split decision with Floyd. Are you that blind?

Pros make weight all the time...guys like DLH have the resources to get PROFESSIOANL nutristionist, Chefs, Personal trainers and coahces to ensure his body was fully prepared to cut down 4 additional pounds and he had a full camp to do so. Excuses are like ass holes....everyone has one....some work with A LOT MORE.

Of course Tyson aske for a rematch! Tyson SHOULD have won but was very over confident and out of shape...he didn't even have a corner. But even if he GOT the rematch it wouldn't have wen throught b/c of the legal proceedings with Ms . Washington.

Tyson did fight afterwards but it was clear he was going to jail and they didn't make the rematch for obvious reasons. Holy was suppose to face Tyson AFTER Buster but of coures the upset happened and that went out the window. Boxing Polotics.

I'm all for stricter testing and YES...the only true way to catch dopers is for ALL YEAR round testing which is IMPOSSIBLE! Which is why the demands never caught traction. When they come up with a more efficent and cost effective way to test on this level I'm sure it will be implemented. But Floyd himself who started this movement isn't being tested all year round and he's the one who created the awareness.

doesnt pacman fight for legacy and not money?

if so then why duck shane? when he has a better legacy then miguel cotto and only lost against cotto by two points or so in what was a disputable fight that could have gone either way.

AHAH! You a clown and a major CORNBALL bro. If Manny came out and accused Floyd of being dirty and calling into question his entire career accomplishements right before they were suppose to fight....THEN have the nerve to DEMAND testing to prove the accusations he came up with were false.....Floyd would have told Manny to **** off and that would have been his easy way out of the fight.

And I wouldn't have supported Manny. I would have been supporting Floyd. But that's not what happened. It was FLOYD acting in this way.

And DLH did look like a 12 yr old girl after Manny started laying hands on him. Credit to Manny.

only joyboys like you would believe this.

most fans see it as a close but clear win for cotto. even mosley admitted he was beaten by cotto. you must be ******ed if you think fighting mosley at jr welter is a better legacy fight than cotto at welter.

you failed to answwer my question about manny fighting without roach which was conveniant and you hasve been owned.

secondly name 1 calendar year where floyd has fought just once?

he had 18 months and anyone out for that long needs a tuneup dont matter how good you are.

this proves you arent even a fan of the sport if you dont know these things

    pacland awaits you

so why you think pac won't fight without roach? if roach will be unavailable for some reasons beyond their control, i'm sure pac would not pass this fight up win or lose.

so fight a blown-up lightweight is a good tune-up? floyd fought jmm last year and only fought mosley this year. isn't that once a year?

shane has a better legacy then cotto so yes even at that weight his legacy would have been damaged becaiuse pac would have got knocked out at that weight, after he wooped mayorga and margo who weighed as much as 170 on fight night even though pac is dare i say it slicker then these two he would of got ktfo.

fredie knows this, freddie is waiting for floyd to go old now.

do you remember in march how he was openly stating that floyd is too good for them and they urgently need more time

but you wont be aware of this because you were frequenting pacland website on an almost hourly basis to find out what pac was up to :hi:

Let's see. Shane coming of the destruction of Margarito or Cotto who looked bad against Clottey and the fight before that was Plastered-KO'd by Margarito?

Yeah, I would say Shane was certainly the tougher choice, especially given what Roach said as to why he wouldn't take the fight with him.

Mosley originally wanted no catch-weights and to have the fight at 147. He refused the original catch-weight bull**** of around 142. The 140 was the last ditch effort to get the fight. Pac could have fought him at 147, but didn't. Instead, opted for Post-KO'd Hatton and Post-Plastered Cotto.
