Proof was in Roach saying "NO" to Shane directly. It was more than just talk.
Proof was in Roach having Pac move down in weight to fight Post-KO'd Hatton, even though he just fought Oscar at WW...as well as proof being the continual refusal of Mosley's request for the fight instead, fighting a Post-Plastered Cotto at WW for a paper title.

Fact: Shane was "to good" for Pac so Pac ducked him.

One punch ended that fight: Body shot early in that fight. That took all the wind out of Margarito. Actually, Roach mentioned long before that fight about wondering if you attack Margarito's body what would happen.
That shot is the one that they showed on the replay where it looked like Margarito's entire mid-section got caved in.

Shane is also stronger than Margarito so he tied him up on the inside and prevented the attack. Then used his speed to hit Margarito before he could hit him. And unlike some others, Mosley attacked and wasn't scared to take one to give one because Mosley has confidence in his ability to take a punch.

He just didn't let Margarito get off which he couldn't...especially after that devastating body-shot early in the fight.

Cotto's victory was very close and people questioned how he looked in doing it with Clottey. Some even felt Clottey won that fight and or in the least, gave it away by letting Cotto off the hook.

Mosley is past his Prime. No denying that. He has for some time. But he had yet to be Plastered/KTFO like Cotto was in recent time.

And, again, Shane may have been past it but he destroyed Margarito and Pac avoided that Past prime fighter after Shane's destruction of Margarito.

Exactly Shane is too good as quoted by dope coach Roach.
Never fought an athletic or slick guy his whole career won't even think about fighting the likes of Alexander, Berto or Bradley it's ****in pathetic. No one wants to see Pac-Margo or Pac-Clottey. Especially since Pac-Margo is for a belt at a catchweight.

How do you close the gap on a guy who has more reach than you and always boxing on the backfoot? Your best bet is to use your strenght and power and get inside on him.

How is JMM supposed to use his stength and power on someone who is 2-3 divisions bigger than he is.

140 is a better suited weight for him. Even roach and ariza said that but there's no money there so he fights at 147 where he is usually the smaller man.

he was noticing it already. remember how oscar suddenly gassed-out against floyd? floyd still had a hard time with an oscar who could not pull the trigger anymore.

Moron. What were Judah, Mitchell, Corley, and Augustus? How dumb can you be? Mayweather has fought EVERY style of boxing.

Pac is trying to fight the slickest Black fighter around AND take his drugs while he does it. He is NOT trying to fight if he can't take his drugs. What is so hard for you to understand?

According to your dumb ass it is about "honor". So maybe Manny should get to bring a bat? A knife? Load his gloves? Cheating doesn't matter. It is all about fighting.

I swear every time I read your posts I get a little dumber.

I have never discredited FLoyd's win over Hatton. First of all, I said it was a good win and he closed thew show like he should.

Second, there are 4-5 ****in titles in each division. So he beat a guy who's barely a contender and he looked like **** doing it.

You and I BOTH KNOW Hatton's best weight was always 140. Now, you can cry like a ***** saying Floyd would beat him there anyway. I agree, he would. But he DID NOT.

BTW..who's fault was it a SHowtime fighter turned down an HBO fighter. Answer that....

Easiest way to get a fight with Pac is to get KTFO by your last opponent! :nut
