McCallum by decision...IMO, Mike is underrated.

I dont think Mike is overrated I just believe he gets lost in the shuffle a bit. I do think Valdez is a bit underrated though.

No one wants to go out on a limb for this one I guess?

I like McCallum in this one. I think very highly of Valdez, but I think McCallum matches up favorably. Valdez could be a little wide at times with his punches and I see McCallum utilizing his tight punching style effectively against Valdez. In my opinion Valdez would need a late stoppage to get this one and we don't have evidence suggesting McCallum was gonna be stopped. I think McCallum's precision and the abillity to "be first" gets the decision. Styles. Superior movement beats a prime McCallum (Kalambay type).

This will probably look a bit similar to McCallum-Curry without the knockout ending.

McCallum. Much better techncian, and the iron chin to handle Valdez's power.

McCallum outboxes Valdez to a comfortable UD

I like both guys equally but I think Valdez is getting cut short here.
I dont see this being a comftorable fight for either one. I see it tooth and nail. Valdez really gets smokin after a few rounds and I could see him taking a decision victory here. Remember the trouble an aggressive Collins gave Mike? Valdez is on a different level than Collins.
