Pavlik's trainer: We Would Fight Dawson, Angulo,Cloud

Man, Dawson would absolutely destroy Pavlik.

 

There was always a rematch with Martinez awaiting him and he turned it down. So nobody wants to hear about how he'll have to go to someone else's division to get a fight. They turned down the rematch like they already had other plans - now they're waiting to see what comes around. They have no one to blame but themselves.

 

Question here, Pavlik doesn't seem to me like he has the best defense in the world. Against Taylor he looked very hittable and against Hopkins, well... anyways.

Dawson and Bute would probably destroy him. I can't see him winning these fights. Especially since they are both bigger and faster then him.

I would think this a bad move from his management.

 

You obviously read the article, so why did you choose to ignore the part that said Pavlik would fight Martinez again if that fight is still do-able?

kelly pavlik days are numbered... he has 1 more relevant fight and after that he will get beat by everyone else

 

this is all a product of Dunkin getting pissed (rightfully) and complaining up the pole to Top Rank that they arent doing **** to get kelly a fight...and those complaints are falling on deaf ears b/c Arum is too busy w/ trying to get pac in the ring and getting cotto squared away. Its been reported that Dunkin even tried to get Kelly outta the contract w/ top rank

Now Loew has a fighter who w/o a fight or a weight class, a pissed off manager and a preoccupied promoter. Yeah he's gonna start spouting off. No one should be surprised.

 

Max, Kelly stated at least 6 weeks ago, that Bute was a definite option for his next fight. He was/ is still trying to determine if he moves up or not. I think, we'll know in the next couple of weeks. And, in my opinion, the boxing world will know how serious Kelly is about his boxing career.

 

How could you be a Kelly Pavlik fan? How can you support a bogus fighter?

I would love to see all of these fights with the exception of Dawson who is all wrong for Kelly.

 

I've been saying this for the longest that and he needs to set up camp away from Youngstown. The sooner he does this the better off he'll be.

He is talking about taking camp out of Youngstown. I've been saying he should for a long time... Big fish, little pond. He deserves less distractions.

 

My only question is why it has taken so long? This should have happened years ago after his loss to Hopkins.
