The Marquez Diaz fight is previewed here, I might stick some money on Diaz just because betting on Marquez doesn't seem profitable unless it's a HUGE amount. http://www.gx-world.com/us/features/sports/betting-preview-juan-manuel-marquez-vs-juan-diaz.html
Is it not a shade over evens for the Marquez stoppage? I was going to have a little punt for interest on Diaz(for the odds only) but when you break the fight down,Marquez tko/ko is a better option than Diaz.
The money is decent for a Marquez stoppage actually, if you put a twenty on it you're gonna get a decent enough return. But I just had a sneaky suspicion Diaz might just win this one and it will be a bit of a boxing shock. Although thats just a gut instinct, my brain is saying Marquez TKO all day long.
Anyone got a strong opinion on the Rocky Juarez V Linares fight? I didn't see Juarez last time out against Litzau but thought he still looked decent in the John fight before that. Maybe just running out of energy and stamina?
Yep, just started raining now. The conditions will be a bit of a leveller but I'm sticking with the pie eaters.
Well Wigan, last two big games they have played when its been raining, they have lost, Leeds in Challenge Cup and Warrington the other week. Also Leeds are renowned for winning big games in wet conditions, their kind of weather.
Juarez was robbed against Litzau, and I think he could save his career against Linares who has been caught cold before. I'm predicting an early knockout for Juarez who has a huge point to prove, and needs to win to stay near the top of the division and be in with a world title shot.
Wayne Jones vs Adrian Lewis 13/8 Similar thinking to last night. Lewis has gone off the boil of late and Jones is a good floor player. Wes Newton vs Colin Osbourne 10/11 I think I'll split my stake and go with Newton 6-5 (5/1) and Newton 6-4 (11/2). I'm expecting a close game. These players should hold their throw more often than not.
Daniel Jacobs VS Dmitry Pirog, this should be an excellent fight on Saturdays superb fight card, I'm looking forward to this one more than the main event. Nothing like two young and up and coming fighters facing each other with one having to lose their unbeaten record. Some odds and a preview are up on the betting website now. I know it's shameless promotion but if it helps your betting then it's all good. http://www.gx-world.com/us/features/sports/daniel-jacobs-vs-dmitry-pirog-big-fight-preview.html The odds I think are on a Jacobs decision victory. Although Pirog has looked very impressive against good opposition. Can't wait.
