    Strange point of view then.

Lets take one of tomorrows fights, Casamayor v Guerrero, which has a contracted weight of 139 pounds.

Explain why you 'hate' that fight, but would be ok if they both boiled down to 135lbs for no reason, or if they just signed a contract at 140lbs? What actual difference does it make to anyone?

Why bother with a contracted weight of 139 when there's an established weight class one damn pound away?

Are you gonna watch the fight with interest? Yea me too. :yep

But seriously, I do agree with you on this. There should be stricter rules to force fighters to make the weight for the specified class to keep the sport more legit, if thats even possible anymore...

Because it makes no difference to anyone, that's the point. Why care?

this is true and the morons out there dont understand that there is in fact no minimum weight

I remember v harris weighted in 134 to defend the 140 title

But was it contracted that Harris weigh-in at a weight less than 140? That's what I thought.

I'm more interested in seeing what Margo weighs on fight night. If he only ways 154 on fight night then I know that a re-hydration clause was used. And would solidify that DLH and Cotto both had re-hydration clauses as well.

It's in just about everything i've read about the fight. & mago has agreed. My whole thing w/ the catch weight is it's weak to me if your going for a guy's belt. My real beef is that it's for the belt. Pac's never fought there & margo beat garcia. So what have either done to earn the belt? Margo definantly doesn't deserve it.

That sums up my view. A Pacquiao v Margarito fight at 150 would be fine with me but to have this as a title fight fight and it being 4 lbs away from the limit is taking things a bit far. I could excuse the 1 lb that Cotto had to lose for their fight but 4 is pushing it to me.

Nah, don't stretch it. Otherwise, Hoya and Cotto will be all over this already.

It seems Pac, his team and Arum love catchweights or weight draining their opponents, they demand everything from ring size to gloves, to splits, to fines... Everyone should start learning from them:D

 @ people who think Pacquiao was in a position to enforce a rehydration clause on DLH...
