Another "Did Mayweather duck..." poll for the ESB haters and fanboys to feast upon. Boxing fans also welcome.

    Vote.

I know the threads been done previously but I genuinely don't remember a poll. Any excuse to shame Mayweather too, right?

I think it was pretty blatant.

He made more money fighting someone else. How is that ducking? It's called being smart.

Did Margarito use plaster handwraps? Yes. So who gives a ****.

    Just answer the question:
Did Mayweather avoid Margarito? YES or NO.

Hmmm. Fight Oscar De La Hoya for the 154lb title, for 20 million and a greater scalp on your legacy

    or...

Antonio Margarito who lost to a green Paul Williams, a C level fighter in Daniel Santos, and only for 8 million.

    LOL!

It was a guarenteed $8m against both Baldomir and Margarito, right? It was the PPV money which made Floyd more than the guarenteed $8m, obviously, but Mayweather/Margarito would have done huge numbers and smashed the $12m that Mayweather made against Baldomir.

That wasn't the choice. The choice was Baldomir or Margarito.

Hate to say it but yeah. Tony was the WBO champ and called Floyd out in his face. Say what you want, that toke balls on Tony's part.

Nope. Mayweather got 8million to fight Baldmoir for the lineal championship, plus he was no longer tied to Top Rank which allowed him to secure the DLH fight, which Arum was quoted as saying would never happen.
