Floyd was then offered a fight against Margarito later that year, turned it down because it required him to resign with multiple fights with Arum for less money.

So bigger fights with Hatton, Cotto, Mosley, he would only make 5 million and the DLH fight was not under Arum's radar.

Floyd choose to be a free agent. Even Arum back then admits that Floyd would of taken the fight but didn't want to resign with him
