Is Floyd ducking Pac the same as Pac ducking Marquez?

Marquez has been calling the **** out of Pac and clearly they don't
want it. Everyone knows Marquez won the rematch and most even think
he won both encounters. Now i know Roach has said several times that
he doesn't want Pac to fight below WW. Is that reason because clearly
Marquez dominates the lightweight division? Marquez moved up 2 weight classes to fight Floyd & Pac cant go back down to fight Marquez for a
trilogy that everyone knows needs to happen. I guess they're waiting for Marquez to get older to fight him again. :deal

I see all these threads about Floyd ducking Pac almost everyday.
Its clearly a double standard here but these guys ducking fighters left
& right is whats killing boxing. Hate to admit it but they should learn from Dana Whites system and always put on the best against the best.
Sorry but Pac vs Clottey & Floyd not even making weight against Marquez is not the best of the best. :think

Floyd is definitely the best and most gifted of the welterweights pound for
pound #1 but i don't think is heart is into it anymore to fight several times
a year. Sad for boxing but its better if he just retired in that case. :think

Pacquiao has fought Marquez twice...how is that even remotely comparable?

Because a 3rd fight is the biggest fight out there for Pac besides Mayweather.

And most people have them 1-1 and Pac could easily see Marquez as too much risk and not even reward.

    Age means nothing.

Marquez is at the top of the sport with his only loss coming to Mayweather at a weight he shouldn't been fighting at.

    nope.

    age means something.
it would shows if a fighter is on a decline or slowing down, plus the fight would be in atleast at 140 in which marquez is in a very big disadvantage.

there are far better fights than pac vs marquez.

first of all pac doesn't go down in weight to fight guys, he only goes up which makes his accomplishments that much greater, if he fought marquez at a catchweight at 144 like mayweather it would be all over in 2 or 3 rounds.

Pac-Marquez should happen at 140, if Pac demands it to be at 147 then that's laughable by his camp and him.

Marquez wouldn't be a big disadvantage, he's fought a version of Pac thats only been a few lbs lighter than the one fighting right now.

140 is perfect for the fight.
