its a perfect speculation right now.
but after the fight, the board will be flooded by:
    past his prime
    old fat slow ass marquez
    he ducked bradley, berto etc..

pac vs marquez is NOT the next best fight for pac vs mayweather.

When did I ever say it was okay for Floyd to fight Marquez at 147?

We know Marquez can't contend at that weight now.

I think it'd be different if Marquez was going against Pac for his first time at 147.

I find it amusing how because I want a 3rd fight between the two at 140 not 147. I'm the *******.

Eze, you're reaching. Pacquiao has fought Marquez twice and is clearly the best fighter in the world along with Mayweather Jr, whilst Marquez is coming off a one-sided drubbing. I don't see why anyone would want to see Marquez move up to 147lbs and get knocked out cold by a fighter who's clearly on a different plateau right now. Smarten up, you're better than this.

ok cotto is not 147 guy, got ya.,

base on that fact since moving up, lightweight A carry the weight fine at higher weight class 1 win at 140, another at 147, while lightweight B did a horroble loss at 144 (taken the fact he is facing one of the best technical fighter)

looking at that fact add the age factor, how would you see the fight goes? also how would you look at it legacy wise?

It's the same for every god damn fight that ever happens.

I've learned to just deal with it, you are going to have morons from both sides do the same ****.

You know how many idiots claimed that Floyd would never fight Mosley (they said this as he was already 38) then claimed to **** all over the Mosley win because of his age, despite saying 6 months prior that he was afraid of him.

    They are idiots.

If Pac beats Marquez at 140, he gets a ton of credit from me. (assuming he doesn't lose to Diaz)

Let's be honest. If Marquez wins against Diaz tomorrow and gets a 3rd fight with pac and Pac destroys him. Pac gets a huge ton of credit.

I don't want to see Marquez move up to 147. I want the fight at 140.

Pac was on a different plateau before this. Marquez was a fighter that could hang with him.

Pacquiao gets as much credit as Floyd did if the fight is contested at 147lbs. Marquez is a non-factor at that weight, and Manny has absolutely no reason, no need, to be fighting anywhere below 140lbs now. His business at Lightweight and Super Featherweight is finished, done, obsolete.

I'm not saying he has to go below 140 (even though he can).

What the hell is wrong with a 3rd Marquez fight at 140? Nothing.

Pacquiao wins by one-sided drubbing. He's faced the man twice before, he should have no reason or motivation to want to fight him again. If the fight materializes then fine, but Manny should actually be pressured into fighting a man he has already defeated once and faced twice before? This **** needs to stop.

Because most people consider him to be 1-1 with that guy.

I don't think pac wins in a one sided beat down. I think Marquez gives him his toughest fight since he last fight Marquez.

Nothing is wrong with it but it's non-comparable to the situation with a possible Pacquiao and Mayweather match-up. This thread seems to be insinuating they are the same, and that we should be criticizing Pacquiao for not fighting a man he has fought twice before, beaten once, and who is coming off a one sided drubbing at the hands of the man who's on vacation.
