***First read through the whole thread before VOTING. You can vote 3 TIMES. One vote is for who you think has the best resume out of the Fab 4. Second Vote is for if you think Ray Leonard's resume is overrated or not. Third and LAST vote is if you think Roy Jones resume stacks up with any of them or not. ***In order to be considered a good opponent you have to have at least 2 good wins. PERSONALLY I pick Hagler to have the best resume out of the 4. Yes IMO Leonard's resume is overrated, although he has the biggest wins out of the 4 there isn't much else to brag about. Yes I do think Roy Jones resume stacks up with the Fab 4. you guys suck. Well anyways this is where i'd rate them Marvin Hagler top 20 Ray Leonard top 30 Roberto Duran top 30 Roy Jones top 35 Thomas Hearns top 40
please state why you are laughing, we are all entitled to our own opinion whether one thinks it outrageous or not.
I always thought Hearns had the best resume. He won his titles vs. Cuevas,Benitez, Duran and Hill. Duran didn't even beat a great ever.
I picked Hearns also. He knocked out the great puncher and outboxed the great boxer Benitez. What hurts hearns is the losses to Ray and Marvin, but if you ignore that he has the best wins.
If Duran gets credit for Jorge Castro and Davey Moore, why doesn't Hearns for Mark Medal and James Shuler and even Kinchen? Medal won a title at 154, Shuler was a better contender than Davey Moore, and Kinchen fought for many titles. What about Randy Shields for Hearns? Hearns had the best resume and the best knockouts against top guys.
Leonard was inexperienced. All Ray did was get his mind set and fight his fight and he made Duran quit. Try again on that one. Ray all but eliminated Duran's win over him, which was great. Duran lost to Hearns and Benitez and everyone good. Talk about overrated. He is like Juan Manual Marquez.
Shuler only has 1 good one over Sugar Ray Seales...to apply to be a good opponent you need at least two wins. mark medal doesn't even have 1 good win......James Kinchen is a bum. Jorge Castro has 2 wins over Reggie Johnson and 2 wins over John David Jackson. Davey Moore has wins over Kalule and Benitez
Ray Leonard should be top 10-15, and the rest Hearns,Hagler and Duran top 25. Jones never beat anyone great. What a joke.
Who was Kinchen? ok 2 good wins, there is your criteria. Kinchen is a bum? Well so is Castro. so that is not a win. Giving Duran credit for Castro is cheating. Duran should have points taken away for losing to all the great fighters he fought and wasting our money for us thinking he was any good to even challenge them. Benitez outclassed him and still we paid more money to see him lose to Hagler and Hearns. With Hearns he went face first to the canvas.
you are the joke. you dont come up with anything of credibility. Duran is starting to be seen as overrated on many of the boxing boards I go to. People are seeing that the wins are just not there for all time great
