Seems to be the prevailing opinion. I don't see how anyone but the most hardcore Floyd nuthugger could see it any other way.

Looks like it. I think the FMJ team dropped the ball on this one. Ellerbe stating that there were never any negotiations at all to begin with didn't help matters at all.

Aside from a handful of fans that are still in denial I guess you can say that that is the general consensus.

Seriously, why are Pac fans harping on it so much? If anything they should feel glad he's taking time off for these reasons: (1) ring rust (2) older age (3) by not challenging himself against the best he's making it easier for other fighters to surpass or overshadow his legacy

That said, if Pac was soooo much better than Floyd both intellectually and skill wise he'd make Floyd look completely stupid by fighting guys like Martinez or Williams. Hell, I'll even throw JMM into that mix because if he knocks out Marquez, Pac can say he performed better than Floyd. Calling Mayweather a coward and then choosing to fight C level fighters is just embarrassing!

Your so called C level fighters like Cotto and Margarito are the ones that Floyd avoided. So in essence Floyd is only fighting D level fighters?

Why do you think this is the consensus? Both parties are to blame if you really think about it.
