I dont think he does its just the fact that he has billed this as Gavins first title chance and most likely promised Gavin a title so has elected to go with the midlands

fook it! the Irish title must have fallen out of bed today because he said on his facebook last night that it was for the Irish title with Michael Kelly.

the irish title is often fought for outside of Ireland.

Its actually been fought from in Brum a couple of times.

From a selfish perspective I would preferred to have seen Kelly-Gavin for the Irish title then a midland area title, especially as Kelly had already gone into his training camp after being told it was on. Agh well!

It's these Irish they'll try and claim anybody.

I just wish ESB was around in Italia 90 so that I could put ''he's not Irish, he's English'' on a post every time they did something good.

The perfect first belt. A Midlands star on a major show in the Midlands. I would have preferred Degale to collect a Southern Area rather than that meaningless WBA strap
