Montiel bobs and jabs at Peralta. Montiel is landing a lot of pitty-pats, while Peralta misses jabs and forces his way in with uppercuts to the body and hooks upstairs. Montiel is countering him well but eating leather when his guard isn't up. Montiel lands a glancing 1-2 and tries to follow up with a double jab but gets hooked in the mouth in the process. Wild hookercut misses from Montiel. Peralta paws with his jab, flailing it a bit. Montiel throws a 1-2-3 but Peralta blocks it well and then lands a looping shot. Montiel slings a triple jab and the third winds up over Peralta's head and onto his exposed back. Peralta down from a body hook and barely beats the count!
