    Round 5

"There's the Aztec blood in the Mexicans; they have those high cheekbones, so when they get hit there they really...you know, puff up..." :rofl

Peralta jabs and hooks while on the move, one shot at a time. Montiel comes at him with combination punching but isn't closing the gap. Peralta gets his back on the ropes and rope-a-dopes a series of six straight punches. Montiel looks a bit arm weary, and clubs with a right hand to the side of Peralta's head. Montiel 1-2's him to the ropes. Body shot from Montiel. Peralta goes for a clinch and then changes his mind and tries to throw a right hand but his own momentum works against him as his arm is already behind Montiel's head. 1-2 to the gloves followed by a hard hook to the body by Montiel

    49-45 Montiel

No, I'm pretty sure it's Robert. He was born here in the US.

    From Wiki:
    Real name Robert Joseph Guerrero
    Birth place Gilroy, California

Bob: Juan Manuel Montiel is better than every other Juan Manuel or Montiel in boxing. He is the Aztec champion.

    Round 6

Montiel walks Peralta from corner to corner and then stops to unload four and five punch combinations. Peralta is swiping at him with both fists and touching Montiel's face a bit as Montiel is completely disrespecting his power and not covering up as he comes at him. Montiel winging shots with his hands low and Peralta gamely tries to pop him in the face. Peralta is breathing heavily through his mouth and getting hammered repeatedly and doesn't stop trying to land something big.

59-54 Montiel (5 rounds to 1 with the extra knockdown point).

That was the plan, but the plan seems to have changed. :conf

Sheridan says George Groves is next, but the PPV is up in five minutes. :think

Edit: He says they're only showing the last round of the Groves fight.

None of Frankie Gomez will be shown.

I've just been a Ghost fan for a while. :yep

For those interested, Juan Manuel Montiel predictably got the unanimous decision.
