Heard he has a fight possibly in September for the IBO title against Peter Manfredo?

Anyone heard this?

yeah i have about this fight too, sam is listed to be fighting on the 23rd september in melbourne against TBA hopefully it will be against manfredo would be great for boxing in melbourne

 

Haven't heard it. But what a good match-up Sammy v Manfredo could be.

 

Great Fighter Sam,and he is one Australian Boxer who can hold his head up high with the way he has conducted himself,unlike the performances of a couple of so called TOP Fighters that seem to get all the publicity here in Aus,Sam does not use smoke and Mirrors what you see is what you get a true great Aussiee fighter.!!!!

I dunno, would think Sam still too awkward for Manfredo to figure out, even as rusty as he would be.

 

Manfredo is garbage.he lost to a post-Calzaghe/Tsypko version of Jeff Lacy.unless he has deteriorated badly Sam easily wins this.

 

Hopefully its televised on fox or main event

Sams taking on Pradeep from the contender on the 23rd september in melbourne over 12rnds i think hes defending his wbf title. i heard sam said at the green/briggs fight that he has a big fight in the pipeline which im guessing is the manfredo jr fight for later in the year.

 

Good call Braden...think if he beats Pradeep then he will be ranked no.1 to challenge for the IBO title then?
