    EXACTLY.

From the first round I was thinkin, this Pirov kid is a little slow, but if he has a good chin, Jacobs is finished.

In fact, I made a thread about it.

Jeff M is just a dick rider. He don't know **** about boxing, just about the boxers' personal lives and ****.

pirog is definitely good, but like what some poeple are saying he's gonna become the most overrated fighter on ESB. i think martinez would beat, but sturm?? yea, if he wants to cling to his belt he should stay far away from this guy.

I'm Puerto Rican but I think the Russian/Soviet anthem is the best sounding national anthem.

You don't know what the **** you're talking about. You've never seen a post from me hyping up Jacobs. I never came into this thread hyping him up. You got me confused with someone else. I was at the Jacobs-Ishe Smith fight live and left there saying Jacobs was nothing special then. I picked Jacobs to win based on the fact I'd never seen Pirog fight before(you have to pick someone) but if I had I would have picked Pirog because of his style.

I think an evolution in boxing style is going on in europe where the best bits are being taken out of styles. You saw the elusiveness of the american style. The strong european guard and blocking. And also the straight punching. A new boxing style perhaps?

Shumenov's Central Asian/Slav though. Calzaghe's also not a robot if we think about it. Just slaps a lot.

I like Shumenov, Lebedev I am a fan because he is a badass, not very fluid though.

I find Shum's boxing ability more pleasing to the eye.

I've never seen either Jacob or Pirog till tonight. So I had no biased towards either one. So props to Pirog for winning. As for Jacob's he's still young and this will hurt his marketability but it should make him a better fighter. Let's see what the kids made of.

Pirov won't be overrated because most people know his place. Atleast knowledgable fans.

Pirov has SKILLS but he is somewhat limited by his athleticism.

He would have problems with Pavlik, who Pirov is actually more skilled than, but Pavlik is just a beast, and he may not have the speed necessary, and Martinez.

But other than that, Pirov vs anyone else is fair game, and he still has a shot against Pavlik, but Martinez would be very hard for him.

FFS dude, nobody is overrating him. It was a spectacular KO over a highly rated fellow prospect and people are duly giving credit. How is that overrating???

The closest thing to overrating him is that one person asked how he'd do against Martinez, but the very first response was the Maravilla would clown him.

    CALM DOWN.

    Nobody's overrating anybody.
