Does anyone know what happened with the Bika/Mendy fight? Was Mendy down from a Bika punch, and Bika got over excited, or was it Dirrell/Abraham style? I like Bika and am pissed at this decision. I'm hoping it will get changed at least to a NC as long as Bika didn't do anything legitamitely dirty.
It was Dirrell Abraham style. First time I saw it I thought Bika thought he was crouching Second time I saw it was clear he hesitated and then threw the punch, good DQ.
It was worse than Abraham/Dirrell. Bika had atleast 2 seconds to think before throwing th epunch whereas Abe had less than 1.
Damn that ****in sucks ass. I'm pretty dissapointed with this right now, I really liked Bika, ALOT and I'm pretty shocked he do some dirty **** like this. I mean we all know he has a hard time getting a fight but c'mon, how could he think being completely recless like that will do his career any good. :verysad
Looked like IMO Bika could have stopped. Just one of those unfortnate things because he was looking like he would get a fast KO. Ref didn't hesitate to DQ him, he had too.
NO! It was not a momentum issue. Sakio Bika is a **** and deserves to get full blown AIDS. He measured Mendy up and blasted him with an uppercut while the man was on his knees. **** Sakio Bika. He was really starting to beat Mendy up and likely could have stopped him legitimately in the very first round, too. He's a complete ****ing idiot and a terrible person.

he pulled a mega-abraham basically, pretty funny to watch someone just stop, load up, and goku someone in the face while they're down. the kind of thing that's legal in mma.
Funny unless you're a fan of Mendy. Or, **** that - a human being. Mendy could be irreversibly damaged by that. It's a hollow victory. Even though he spent less time on the ground, I'm actually more nervous for him than for Dirrell, long-term.
