That sucks ass... I really started liking Bika because of the contender, he seemed like an honest guy, who always would give an honest effort of himself in the ring. To hear he pulled some ****ed up **** sucks for a fan of him like myself.
We're in the same boat, man. It was an extremely disappointing thing for a pro athlete to do, especially one who earned so much admiration for their grit and tenacity despite having a significantly lower skill level than most elites.
After Contender and the Codrington fight I became a fan of Bika. This really sucks. What a dumbass move .

Good point. Hopefully this recent trend with relatively high level boxers losing their composure and throwing reDICKulous not legit punches doesn't continue.
Yeah. Abraham almost lost me as a fan with what he did to Dirrell (and his pitiful interview thereafter). Bika's action was even worse; he lost me and is never getting me back.

The situation validated something I've said for years. I've always said if I were or promoter or manager I would never let Bika near a fighter of mine. He's such a dirty ******* you never know what he'll do.
Bika did something very similar in the first round of the codrington fight which the ref failed to notice. The punch connected well while codrington was down but by the sounds of what happened last night he managed to spark mendy out with the punch
He loaded it up, telegraphed it and everything. It was as hard an uppercut as Bika can throw, and Mendy was at his mercy on his knees with his arms down.
Disgraceful action by Bika. He was going to win but lost his composure. These guys need to get suspended for this ****. Too dangerous. Hope Mendy is OK.
