This. He doesn't have the coordination, accuracy, technique to land cleanly very often, but when he does, forget it because its all over.

This is why I think Froch is screwed and tailor-maid for him. Froch doesn't have the movement or defense to get away from those shots. Abraham KO's anybody up to 175 if he lands, period.

Lay off the Boxrec and watch a couple of Abraham fights and you will realise his KO power is genuine.

If we are talking about strictly KO power, then there is no doubt AA possesses that. If you want to talk about his use of skill in order for him to land flush on his opponent thats a different story.

Alot of known big punchers have been taken the distance by fighters, but it dont mean that they were not big punchers.

Also many times fighters dont pull the trigger because of other circumstances. Going for a KO you may end up getting boxed, and risk a comfortable lead you have on the scorecards. Or they feel sorry for their opponent and dont want to hurt them.

King Arthur's Power is the real deal, however it is hard to access how the power translates to the 168 division. He did ko Taylor with one punch, but Jermaine had already become the poster boy for getting KTFO... Froch vs Abraham will give us a great example of Arthur's power. If he can hurt The Cobra, he has very good power.

He can bang a bit but too much is put soley on that.He wears guys down, walks them down, wears them out.He was doing it to Dirrel.Once they are getting to feel it a bit he comes on with the real power shots. He hits very hard but brings that into it later in fights. He aint an early round bang em out guy,he carries the power and is dangerous for 12 rounds.

No that SOB can punch. I know he lost his last fight but he Knock direll the **** out. He just needs to learn to stop giving so many early rounds away. I think with the right trainer he can go a long way. Maybe freddy roach would be a fit for him. But damn AA can punch.

    No, it's not.

Abraham has his flaws and might be slightly overrated overall (even though I think he's a beast), but when it comes to punching power, I don't see anybody in SMW who has equal or even better pop in his hands.

I'm convinced that Froch will get KTFO for the 1st time in his career if he is unable to adapt his defense. If Froch drops his hands like he usually does and eats clean shots by Abraham he won't see the 12th round. I'd bet lots of money on that.

Yes. Just like Margarit's and Andrade's chins were considered granite a year or so ago. People always overestimate how strong or weak a fighter's attributes are based on one fight. It's always somewhere in between.

There's no way AA could catch Wlad with one of his bombs. Actually Abraham would get KTFO. But that comparison is theoretical. The weight and height/reach advantage is too big.

Of course, if Wlad would stand still, only waiting to take a shot (like Froch does all the time :) ), then he would get KTFO.
