Didn't Marciano and Dempsey use to be in your top 5?

Also how could Sullivan have a top 5 resume when he ducked black fighters?

Old Foreman has to be the one most overrated heavyweights of all time.

    nice list Suzie.

only some minor changes i'd make. I'd switch Louis and Ali around. I'd switch Holmes and Liston around.

Also i'd have Evander at number 10 or 9. That's about it.

Nonetheless the best list i've see so far.

    Wellllll.....

    Two questions then

    1. Do you rate Holyfield top 20?
    2. Would you say he "brutally destroyed" old Foreman?

Man, your list is so good with the exception of your placement on Liston. And trivially, I'd have Dempsey ahead of Willis but you have a fair (And accurate) revisionist take. Also would have Holyfield above Dempsey and Willis. Guy still is a record 4 time HW Champ (Realistically 5). And while he went 1-4 against the super HWs, he went 2-0 against a younger Tyson. He fought everyone and has the best opposition. On the other hand, Tyson went 0-3 against the best opposition he faced.

Not a bad list sue. Swap Dempsey for liston and replace wills with either baer or schmeling and it’s the basicly the same as mine.

    I see the top 3 as 1.) Ali 2.) Tyson 3.) Foreman

You may think I'm crazy putting Tyson before greats such as Marciano and Louis but Tyson's only possible flaw in his prime was heart, I don't think heart would come into play against any of these guys as i think Tyson would take the smaller old timers out in under 5 rounds mostly. I can't see anyone beating a prime Ali at least more than once out of 5 times. I see prime Foreman being able to tke prime Tyson but I but Tyson ahead as I think he can do things to some other guys that Foreman couldn't. Foreman was a machine and could knock out anybody on the right night but could be beaten with the right gameplan.

    since 1960

    1. Ali
    2. Lewis
    3. Holmes
    4. Foreman
    5. Tyson
    6. Wlad Klitschko
    7. Holyfield
    8. Liston
    9. Vitali Klitschko
    10. Frazier

but the order means only the higher guys have a bigger possibility to win against the other guys

    quite a big flaw then..

until he got frustrated. remember quick tillis, jesse furguson, tony tucker, bonecrusher smith and douglas all went past 5 rounds.

    Very poor effort.

    Main gripes with your list:
Foreman shouldn't be in the top 5.
Louis should be ranked in the top 5.
Old Foreman shouldn't be in the top 15.
Wlad shouldn't be in the top 10.
Liston & Tyson should have good top 10 positions (top 5 imo).
