Holmes lands the jab all night and a bit more as the fight progresses...watch the famous Sam-Illegal back of the head Nigerian Rabbit smack
In all fairness, Peter looked pretty trim and fit in his last outing. His lowest weight since his first few pro fights. [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z-D3Qom-_sI[/ame] Still him and 91 Mercer are essentially the same fighter. Tough and dangerous but utlimately of little substance.
Oh god...Wlad/Peter II isn't that bad. Does anyone remember this modern Heavyweight Championship Super Classic featuring a top ranked deserving challenger? [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JqTKc5ztQzk&feature=related[/ame] Nah, Wlad/Peter II is the true sign of the times. This content is protected
Mercer had a good background but tried to bribe Jesse Ferguson before being outboxed by him. Ray was also being out pointed in his biggest wins against Morrison and Damini, his durability and power bailing him out. He had a strong jab when he wanted to use it, but so does Peter. Not sure about a better chin. With the exception of the McCline fight, Peter is as sturdy a whipping boy as anybody I can think of. He's turned walking into unnecessary punishment while staying on his feet into an artform. Sam Peter aint much of a fighter but he has a very good chin give him that. He walked into some huge right hands in the Wlad fight.
Holmes takes this but on a sidenote despite being perhaps one of the best jabs it is criminally overrated in a H2H sense. Its in the league of little kids playing super heroes and the one **** wont die because he has invincibility its like BOOM Holmes jab and what bro? what?
