Not only is Floyd a coward, he appears to have very little loyalty as well:

    http://www.nydailynews.com/sports/m...eather_jr_are_hanging_out_to_see_what_ha.html

Now, the infamous and discredited Tim Smith of the New York Daily News is as big of a Mayweather knob-gobbler as any current supposed journalist. That has to be understood. This may be Smith's latest pathetic attempt to cover up for Mayweather's cowardice in ducking Pacquiao, and just Smith's own ramblings here.

However, what appears to be happening here is that Chicken Man isn't happy that the truth is out. That is, that Ross Greenberg has exposed the fraud that was Team Mayweather's lie that no negotiations were taking place with Pacquiao.

And so, instead of manning-up and accepting his cowardice, Floyd may be trying to pin the blame on Haymon and Ellerbe while pretending he, Floyd, was never really in negotiations with Pac. This appears to be the case or at least what Smith is trying to convince the naive reader of.

By all accounts, Haymon and Ellerbe have been incredibly loyal to Floyd. Haymon doesn't talk to the press at all. We all know how much Ellerbe covers for Floyd.

And this appears to be the thanks Chicken Man gives them. Sold out to Don King, and Tim Smith. All in the service, it would seem, of trying to protect the shattered image of one of the greatest current frauds in any sport.

Floyd fans, please try to defend this.

There is no chance in hell that Haymon was talking with Greenberg unless Chicken Man wanted him to. Tim Smith knows that, of course. So does anyone with a brain in his head. Don King sure as hell knows it.

But, like the first round of failed Pacquiao-Mayweather negotiations, everyone on Team Mayweather except for Chicken Man was on board. It was Chicken Man who backed out then, and it was Chicken Man who backed out the second time around, too.

What appears to be happening here is that Chicken Man may seriously be thinking of never fighting Pacquiao. And so, he's looking around to King or anyone who can help him make cash while trying to fool the public about the Pac Duck. Haymon and Ellerbe may be tired of defending Chicken Man's ducking (remember, all were on board with Pac fight but Floyd, reportedly), or they just might be the scapegoats for Floyd's moronic fans who don't want to believe he is afraid of Pac.

I feel bad for Ellerbe and Haymon here. Don King doesn't care about anyone but Don King and Tim Smith is a Mayweather jockrider who only cares about protecting His Guy Floyd even as PBF continues to destroy Tim's reputation in the boxing world.

Floyd, though, punked out here. Again. You can't turn on your own team like this forever. Golden Boy Promotions has helped out Floyd. So have Haymon and Ellerbe.

At some point in time, cowards run out of places to hide. Don King may be Floyd's last refuge, and Tim Smith Floyd's last real media defender.

One way or another, the sand in Floyd's hourglass is running out and so are his excuses.

Mayweather isn't accountable to Ellerbe and Haymon. Him meeting with DKP is probably more about promoting than anything else.

The only reason the fight hasn't been made is because Floyd doesn't want it. If he did, it would have been done long ago.

Can you imagine what would happen to Ellerbe if Floyd broke up with him.

How do you have the audacity to be saying Mayweather is engaging in ghetto thug behaviour. You call him a lowlife, etc yet you do all this with a picture of Valero in your avatar.

Who's surprised of the double standards in this world? :?

    Yeah.

But probably screwing over both boxers of their purses in the process.

And making himself some more money at the expense of the athletes.
    Bending/breaking the rules.

Good for the fans, but bad for the boxers.

Don King was capable of putting a grudge aside if it means there was a disgusting amount of money to be made. I don't think there'd be a rematch by now, but at least the first fight could have happened.

I do believe with King in the mix the first time around the fight would have happen.
