even if your theory was true that arum was not sincere with the negotiations, floyd could just come out and call on arum's public challenge and accept it. but floyd make it worse for himself by saying he is not thinking of boxing right now and is on vacation. floyd should have called arum's bluff (if he was indeed bluffing) and expose arum.

 

all floyd has to say was that he is not on vacation and willing to fight pacquiao.
