If pavlik struggles with the weight, maybe.

if pavlik is ok at the weight he wins easily.

Jacory Harris voted for Pirog by KO. That ought to tell you guys an awful lot about the validity of your thought processes.

Alright, upon re-viewing the Jokeobs KO, this is my analysis, and I do Pirog a better chance than I originally suspected.

Pirog's herky jerky awkardness, and obvious pop could be problematic for Pavlik. I mean lets face it... Kelly is a basic straight line figher. Thats just what he is. Pirog has more variation in his attack thats clear. Howver, Pirog is lacking in the lateral movement that Hop and Martinez beat Pav with. Despite his subtle skill, he is a sationary target, which might allow Kelly to set up his jab.

Also, we know nothing of Pirog's chin yet, and we all know Kelly(though an overrated puncher) hits a helluva lot harder than Jokeobs. We DO know about Kelly's chin, and its solid, but dentable. Pirog is powerful enough with that sneak right hand to hurt Kelly. But theres questions Pirog would have to answer... namely how he takes a punch, and how he would handle a high paced fight. But then again, can Pavlik even force him into a high paced fight anymore? Perhaps its no longer the 07 Pav in there. If Kelly is dimished enough, then yes I can see Pirog winning it.

Pavlik is on his way out pretty soon though, so if he were still to beat Pirog it'd be now.

i can't lie, i jumped off the couch when pirog landed that shot on jacobs and i'm happy for the guy. but damn, he knocked out a 23 year old prospect who was asking for that right hand all night. backing up to the ropes in a straight line...kelly would left jacobs tits up as well.

pirog is much better than advertised and jacobs isnt as good as advertised...at least not yet. i look forward to seeing dmitry fight again but hell no he doesnt beat kelly pavlik. i have seen nothing to indicate that pirog can handle kelly.

The guy just emerged on the scene, gets a win, and people already want to throw him in with Pavlik. If he were to hypothetically lose they would dismiss him as a hype job. Funny how fickle boxing fans are. We want every fight to be a mega fight lol. I however don't dismiss a fighter after a loss.

I'm going to say something that might make booradley think twice of saying Pavlik will destroy Pirog. <<<I GUARANTEE!!! THAT'S RIGHT BOORADLEY I GUARANTEE THAT PIROG WILL BEAT PAVLIK!!!! <<<The last time i made a guarantee was with me picking Martinez to beat Pavlik from day 1. And i knew from day 1 that if Martinez beat Pavlik in which he did that there will be stupid excuses coming from some of Pavlik fans ("cough" Booradley).

And the reason i pick Pirog is cause he got good movement. Pavlik just can't deal with fighters that won't stand right in front of him. Pirog also got some good speed along with big pop.

Sure Pirog resumes is not to brag about but hey mostly alot of people thought Pavlik would be too big, too strong for Martinez but look what happen in that fight. Pirog don't have the great movement like Martinez but he still have good enough movement to give Pavlik problems. Like i said i guarantee that Pirog will beat Pavlik.
