    What are these holes?

I mean, Jeffries and Sullivan are both tough to rank especially the latter. Jeffries has less than 20 wins. And while you probably have better knowledge of the era, I still suspect you're over-estimating it. It's always hard to deal with bare-knuckle fighters... even if we do just accomplishments/resume. Boxing was just different.

Good list but I don't think Marciano takes Holmes or Foreman H2H.

Perhaps. But legacy/Resume/Dominance Marciano can be argued over them. I also give Marciano a 50/50 chance against Holmes. Also, it seems you rank Marciano lower than others since you have frazier and dempsey rated over Marciano H2H.

you are entitled to your opinion but did marciano get KOd in key fights? why should he be behind guys who did? so what if he retired before a noticable decline he had key fights that could have been turning points that he won. all of them. sure holmes should have been retired when he was finaly KO'D but foreman? george lost to underdogs twice during his peak.

    It wasn't a h2h list. Should of clarified that, seeing as it's a a h2h top 15 thread.

But I don't know if Wills beating Holy is much of a stretch, anyway. He lost to lesser men than Wills and struggled with much lesser men.

why should head to head be any diffrent than resume? it amounts to the same thing. you have to be the best in your own time before you can guarantee wins in time travel.

Man that's a good looking list. Personally i'd never have Dempsey in there but the rest look really smick.

Fair enough. How close was Frazier from making it? Does he get any sort of understanding for the fact that he's less interested and going up against a huge problem style-wise. While you have Dempsey #5/6, he had many blots on his record pre-title, and lost while past it against Tunney twice (By near shut-outs). Frazier at his best has no blots... shouldn't you try examining both ends of that coins? In Frazier's case, I feel he vastly outdoes Dempsey's achievements/resume. And at least lost to HW ATG opposition.
