Hi there, the similarities between norris and khan are uncanny, both guys were fast fighters blessed with incredible handspeed, great offensve ability and athleticism but cursed with remarkably **** chins (norris went down and was hurt badly by a jab against a former welterweight champion before getting KO'd) The 154 devision back in the early 90s wasnt all that but norris's management and promotional team did a good job puting him out of harms way and in with smaller guys and faded legends if you look at his resume he fought leonard when leonard was 35 and came off a 2 year lay off and then had to boil down to 154 after spending time at 168, the guy fought a shot to **** don curry and a post chavez meldric taylor, Khan may end up having a similar career i fear feeding of faded lower weight legends while steering clear of the big fish he should be fighting.
Frankie Gomez and Khan both work for Oscar de la Hoya. Maybe GBP will put Khan in with Frankie in the future. Khan's style is tailor made for Gomez. I was the first to say it.
What an insult to Norris! Terry was a bad man, other than his chin. Khan is a boring pot shotter who's painfully off balance when he throws combos. Its a joke comparison. Khan doesnt have the fluidity, talent, and arsenal that Terry had.
Watch some prime Terry Norris fights you Khan cum licker, and see why theres no comparison. Norris was much more of a complete fighter than the twitter tough guy.
obviously khan isnt as skilled as norris but the similarities are quite glaring poor chin, good handspeed etc etc
No resemblence in style whatsoever. The only similarities are they are both boxers and both are vulnerable in the chin area. However, the Norris jaw is cast iron compared to Khan's.
I was never talking about Terry Norris dumbass. The fact that he called Khan a boring potshotter is what striked me, idiot.
Don't ever compare that piece of **** Khan to a true legend like Terry Norris who is a ATG at 154 pounds and despite his chin liabilities Terry always continued fighting hard punchers like Simon Brown, Jorge Castro, Vincent Pettway. And Terry had skills that is hardly ever seen and always took chances, Terry is up there with any offensive fighter and had very good defense/reflexes to boot.
Yep. Khan will not even go anywhere near a fighter that has above a 30% KO rate. Norris, despite his Glass Jaw was not afraid to not only fight but mix it up with known power punchers. Khan is too scared to do this.
I liked Norris' KO of Maurice Blocker, the guy folded in half. Please don't feel that I am trying to CURRY favor with any particular side. Although I won't SINGH the praises of the PAKman, I would indeed relish a SPICY encounter with Hatton.
