So is it general consensus now that Mayweather ducked Pacquiao?

Ask the casual guy on the street, Or that one dude at work that only knows the name of 2 or 3 fighter's max & you have your answer.

Regardless what happens, That will always be the popular conclusion amongst the normals.

Simply put, the general concensus is usually right. Does not take a hardcore boxing fan to figure out the truth. Doesn't mean things can change. All Floyd needs to do is say when.

I hope so, The window of Floyd's youth is closing fast. With all the vacation time/retirement he has taken.

It would be a shame to see his talent go to waste.

When 3 blood tests weren't enough for a security you know damn well someone has doubts. The *****s are now realizing what the boxing world have known since 04.

You know damn well Floyd didn't come back for Marquez or Mosley, ****.

Oh for sure......It's a completely new ballgame now in terms of the "majority". It's overwhelming now vs before where Floyd had a decent about of supports but most of them jumped ship.

I could show you in many examples where concensus view has been wrong. People shape concensus view. In this day it is so easy to do seeing that people don't look at things themselves and much rather take one's word for it.

Look at the big LIE arum put out saying they agreed to all demands while putting up a phony deadline behind it. Making people assume pac had agreed to random blood testing up to 48 hours prior to the fight. The lie was blasted all over ESPN so it had to be true but when looked into, it was shown not to be true. Same stipulations not met. Wilbon and rome and other uninformed people in the media jumped on floyd after that lie came out and have helped shaped popular oppinion. When in reality, The situation really hasn't changed at all. It's just stalled out. If pac would have agreed to the test and floyd then pulled out I would feel different like floyd ducked. But that is not the case.

All pac has to do is say OK to the blood test. Same thing. Nobody is telling pac to take the test and people are asking floyd to stop demanding the test. Looks pretty messed up both ways.

If there was no agreeing to the 48hours then there was no negotiations. That was the only demand and no matter what was said before they got there, It didn't matter because they wouldn't agree to it.

People overlook that pac didn't take the 14 days offered the first time.

I would say that the "majority" do think this, but I also think the "majority" is generally uninformed and haven't taken the time to examine the issue more closely. There are people who have taken the time to do so, and still feel this way (PBF ducked), but the majority of the majority have no idea about what happened, what was said, or what the dealings are.

the only thing that happened and said that is worth remembering is from floyd himself that he is not thinking of boxing right now and is on vacation. is that situation hard to understand?

we don't want pac to fight a rusty floyd. we want pac to fight a floyd on fire so there would be no excuses. the same with floyd so that there is not much excuses that pac has taken so much beatings. the fight has to happen now and not next time.

Ok so again let me repeat he was on vacation and no negotiations took place therefore youre argument is well invalid.

BTW, do you think last nights fight between Diaz and JMM were required to test under you "made up alleged" olympic style testing...NOPE. Why should Pac. I think he is being treated in a discriminatory manner by you Floyd fans.

What were they negotiating on. This whole point is pointless LOL. There WAS ONLY ONE DEMAND AND IT WAS NEVER MET. If they don't start a negotiation with "we agree to testing up to 48 hours prior" then there is no negotiations. 1 minute of negotiations can be twisted into, we had negotiations or we didn't.

For your question: When you are in a power position to make a demand like that then you can. I feel that pac is innocent until proven guilty but I definately understand why someone would question his accomplishments when looking at his career (last 5 years). So if floyd felt he may be on something then he was in a position to ask to make sure he was on a level playing field. He is the other half of the biggest fight of an era and 50 mil split.

If pac wasn't such a big PPV draw, do you think oscar and cotto would have agreed to catch weights? Pac was in a position to ask for that advantage which he got. Floyd is in a position to make sure he has a level playing field and once manny refused to garentee a level playing field then he looked suspect.

If they never fight, It will be because pac didn't agree. He could have called floyd's bluff but he didn't and had only superstition to back it. Instead they said they called floyd's bluff but never did.

Floyd on vacation doesn't mean nothing. Floyd not thinking about boxing means nothing. He knows the guy isn't agreeing.
