Pacquiao already fought a prime Marquez twice at featherweight and super featherweight.

Now people are accusing him of ducking an old, slower version of Marquez.

Not quite perfect for Pac. Pac has always wanted to fight FMJ and if this materializes, it will be at 147 or higher. Pac will be better off to keep fighting at 147 for best results.

Neither will it be for Marq. He has shown a bit of sluggishness fighting at higher than LW.

A Pac-Marq III will be very interesting and I, for one, will pay PPV for it. But very difficult to negotiate and, much less, happen!

We want a 3rd fight, it's his second toughest challenge after Floyd but the FLoyd fight isn't happening.

But let me guess, you feel Pac destroys Marquez now?

I'm not saying he's ducking him.

    But seriously.

Philla believes Pac easily beats Williams, Marquez, Mayweather.

What's the point of fighting then? Time for Pac to retire.

i believe the same thing as Philla. theres point in taking floyd cause the whole world doesnt agree. as for marquez, 97% of people think pac disfigures his face at this point. 2% believe pac will win and 1% believe it will be competitive. *****s are irrelevant in this btw, just real fans. see the reasoning though?

that being said, id like pac to fight marquez next as a retirement fight just cause he'll get credit purely for scratching off the marquez itch from his resume, even tho in my opinion he wouldnt deserve any. this is being said with the knowledge that the floyd fight isnt an option.

It's time for Pac to retire now, you and Philla clearly think Pac has no challenges.

There is clearly nothing left to gain then unless fight's Sergio Martinez or 168lber.

Because let's be honest, if you feel he's easily going to beat everyone then he will gain nothing.

Not even close.....Manny has faced JMM twice and beaten him TWICE. Most felt the 2 fights were close but the right man won and JMM escaped the first fight with a gift draw. Ducking is what JMM did for 4 yrs after getting away with the bogus draw where PAC was asking for an immediate rematch.

Facing this version of JMM when PAC is clearly bigger, better and in his prime doesn't make that much sense given Manny has 1 victory over JMM and a draw which SHOULD have been a "W".

Floyd hasn't faced Manny yet and has made all the excuses and obstacles to prevent the fight from happening. So when folks and the majority say he's ducking it's b/c there is no other explanation for it.

Your analogy would be comparable to Jose Luis Castillo asking Floyd for a thrid fight given Floyd has faced him two times already. But Floyd has two "Wins" over JLC and Manny has two wins over JMM. So there really is no room for the word "DUCK" pertaining to these two situations.

    This thread is a joke.
Pac already beat him twice. The two fights were extremely close, but Marquez went down on both fights and lost on points. So how is he ducking Marquez if he whipped him two times before?
    Floyd IS ducking Pacquiao.
