yeh barker and macklin must be pretty chuffed they missed out on that.

tbh anyone that had watched allot of pirog fancied him.

Bollox, Macklin would have at least stood up to Pirog and at least tried something different if it wasn't going well.

I've watched every Jacobs fight that has been televised and he's never liked being pressured..never looked remotely comfortable when it's not going his way. He was a knockout waiting to happen.

Macklin would have done much better than Jacobs.

Pirog is a massive leap from domestic/soft European opposition. I'd have Jacobs 1/2 to beat Macklin or Barker.

Introducing Dimitri Pirog, the most over rated fighter in the world.

Certainly feels that way at the moment. I did pick him to win though. Was never convinced by Jacobs.

Pirog looked OK and comfortable but he didn't do anything spectacular in there (other than the finish)...I can only put Jacobs lacklustre performance down to the fact that the week of the fight he lost his grandmother, the woman who actually raised him.

any boxer who can fight on the back foot and adapt to the presistent pressure would have lasted longer with Pirog.

Jacobs looked to be getting more comfortable boxing on the back foot until that right hand landed imo.
