It would be a better fight than a Cotto rematch but not as intriguing as Margarito.

Marquez should fight someone like Khan or Bradley and if he wins then a fight with Pac would make perfect sense.

Winning against Diaz again is nice but he was expected to win. Actually I dont know why this fight was even made, I thought the first one proved beyond doubt who the better man is.

Look I'm more of a Pac fan than I am a JMM fan, and I honestly have no concerns for Pac if he opts to settle the score and step in with him once more.

However what I am concerned about, is that after he brushes aside JMM, he'll then be bombarded with...."Disgrace. JMM never has no business being in with Pac".

    It's a lose/lose situation.

I don't know if I agree with that Rico...Although JMM is no longer a "PRIME FIGHTER". He still has alot of SKILL, ONE OF THE BEST COUNTER-PUNCHERS in the Sport. He has given Pacquiao fits in their previous bouts. Now this is where you and maybe other posters with say that Pacquiao has gotten better since fighting at Welterweight...REALLY? Has he really gotten better? a series of EASY-2-HIT fighters. And now he is about to fight another EASY-2-HIT stationary target for a 154lbs title....AT A CATCHWEIGHT!!! And you believe that it's a NO-WIN if he fights JMM...REALL???

I have soo much respect for JMM but comon he has fought Pac twice and far dues I thought I won at least one its over that was over 6 years ago. Pac has moved and and although im not a Pacturd or fan he would hammer smash Marquez and I mean brutally batter him. JMM your a warrior but let it go you are done at the top level. I mean comon he didnt even look impressive agaisnt Diaz, wtf is gona happen against Pac.

Darryl, JMM isn't exactly elusive himself. If Diaz can find him, I'm pretty sure Pac will too.

And skills alone won't defeat Pac. He needs youth too.

Though I dont want JMM to fight pac at this point of his career, he deserves a fight with pac and not margarito!

I still don't see how Pac will put Marquez away so easily. Alot of the naysayers for this fight are saying Pac will crush him.

But based on what? Pacs knock out victories against Ricky Hatton and Cotto. Ricky had a horrible defense to begin with. Him rushing in against Manny was a knockout waiting to happen. Cotto was a different story. The knockdowns were caused by Cottos horrible balance. And yet he almost went the distance with Manny.

Marquez still has a sturdy chin and has yet to be proven to fail(just ask Mayweather). His knowledge and experience of Pacs style will help him make the fight interesting.

I still say Pac will win by decision. But the fight will be more interesting than a fight with Margarito.

I would not mine seeing it a third time, but I think Pac should fight Mosley first and the winner of that fight should fight Marquez. Marquez had to shots at him already while Mosley had none.

You sold the **** outa me on this fight!:yep I'd buy it....and I agree. JMM deserves the fight simply b/c he's an ATG and nearing the end of his career. But I don't look forward to the one sided beat down he'll certainly take at the hands of Manny,. It will be more embarrasing than what Floyd did to him if they figth over 140.

But at least he'll get paid.

Marquez would get knocked out. All of Void's fans would complain about that fight, Void is the only one who is allowed to cheat in a fight. Void wants to beat up another woman!
